Internal and External Parasite Screen

Did you know that most dogs and cats will get intestinal parasites several times during their lives? The most common parasites we diagnose are intestinal worms. 

Intestinal worms can cause problems with weight, hair growth, and activity level; not to mention diarrhea and vomiting.  Many intestinal parasites can also be spread to humans - YUCK!

In addition to internal parasites, we will also check for external parasites, namely fleas, ticks, and different types of mites that can wreak havoc for  you and your pet.

During your pet's annual preventive care exam, we will perform an intestinal parasite screen, as well as carefully check for any external parasites that may be hiding!
