Children may have many difficult questions and handle grief differently than their parents. If you need or want help explaining pet loss or euthanasia to your child, we have a small collection with children's books regarding the passage of a beloved pet that clients can borrow any time they need to. There is also a good website below with answers to questions that children often ask.

Losing a pet is losing a family member, and grieving is a natural part of the process. Please know that you are not alone in your grief.
