Megan joined our team in August of 2019, bringing with her 20+ years of customer service experience. Megan is the Office Manager for both of our clinics but you will primarily find her here at Family Pet Hospital. She grew up in Platteville and has always had a love for animals.
Megan currently lives in Cuba City with her son, Brayden, and twin sister, Molly. Ruling the house are her cats, Allie (pictured), Allan, and Dean Winchester, and Sam Winchester. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, attending her son's sporting events (she's his #1 fan!), cooking, and going to concerts.
Shelby joined Family Pet Hospital in April of 2017. She is originally from Oakfield, WI and moved to the Platteville area in June of 2016. She and her husband share their home with twin baby girls, two Dachshunds named Romeo and Jasper, and a poyldactyl cat named Cordelia. In her free time she enjoys traveling, boating, and spending time outside with her pups!

Georgia Nitsos joined our team in June of 2022. She comes to our clinic with an extensive background in pharmacy, serving as a Senior Pharmaceutical Technician in Dubuque, Iowa. Her dedication to her customers extends across 11 years.
She has a deep passion for both the pets and the pet parents. She is a cat mom of 10 and was the loving mommy to her favorite senior puppy, Chloe. Chloe would dance with Georgia anytime a song comes on! She enjoys serving others and loving on all the animals while they’re with us!
Georgia is the proud Mother of three sons, Christopher, Seth and Braxten. Her, and the love of her life, Steve enjoy a quiet life at home and believe they are the most loyal Green Bay Packers to have ever lived!
Ellie joined our team in June 2021.
Danielle became a CVT in 2011. She worked for Galena Square Vet Clinic when Dr. Beebe purchased the clinic. She had moved to central Illinois in 2015 to be with her husband. She continued to work as a CVT while there. She has moved back with her family in Scales Mound and rejoined the Family Pet Hospital team in March of 2022. Danielle and her husband share their house with their young boy/girl twins and two dogs. In her free time she enjoys baking, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
Becky Schwab joined our team in May 2012. She grew up in Ontario, WI and moved to Grant County in 2012. With her farming background, Becky has always enjoyed animals. Before coming to Family Pet Hospital, she worked elsewhere as a Certified Veterinary Technician and now has 18 years of veterinary technician experience.
Becky is engaged and has a young son, Walker. She also shares her life with Harvey, the Golden Retriever, 4 cats, 2 Jersey steers, 1 miniature goat and a flock of chickens.

Betty grew up on a dairy and beef farm in southwest Wisconsin. Her love for animals began at a very young age. Growing up with two older brothers, she had a variety of pets, ranging from lizards, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, and hermit crabs.
As time went on, she continued to have a passion for helping animals and people at the same time. Having those two passions in mind, she decided to become a Certified Veterinary Technician and graduated in June of 2012.
Betty and her husband live outside of Lancaster with their three daughters. Her household has one cat, Scotcharoo and three dogs; a corgi mix named Mocha, a dachshund named Mango and golden retriever named Jesse.
In her free time, she absolutely loves to spend time with her two Arabian cross mares, enjoys going for hikes and walks with her dogs.

Brenna joined the Family Pet Hospital Team in June 2021. She graduated from Madison College’s Veterinary Technician Program in May 2021 and passed her certifications in the fall. She is currently studying at University of Wisconsin – Platteville to complete her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science.
Growing up Brenna enjoyed helping her dad train Black and Tan Coonhounds and helping family care for their many different animals. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and playing with her own fur-babies; a Boxer named Bella, a cat named Boo and many other pets including various indoor/outdoor cats and coonhounds.
Emily joined our team in May of 2022. She has been a registered CVT since 2020 coming to us with 11 years of veterinary experience. Emily completed her bachelor’s degree in dairy science in 2017. She has a wide skill set from large animal medicine to small animal medicine and even exotics!
Emily was born and raised in Platteville, WI. She now resides in Lancaster, WI with her husband and a baby on the way. Together they have two corgis, Chopper and Brody, and cat Sophie. In her spare time she volunteers as an emergency medical technician. She can’t wait to meet our clients and their furry loved ones.
Taylor joined Family Pet Hospital in June of 2022. She was raised on a farm in Southwest Wisconsin with horses, cattle, and a variety of small animals that she showed in 4H. She decided to pursue her love and care for animals by joining the veterinary field. Taylor completed a Veterinary Assistant program with UWP. Prior to working at the hospital, she spent 6 years in the medical field. She is currently in the process of starting her CVT degree.
During her free time, Taylor enjoys making memories with her son, Isaiah. They spend their time outdoors for bike rides, hikes and walking their dog, Baby Bear.
She enjoys working at Family Pet and meeting all of your fur babies each day.
Lilly joined Family Pet Hospital in October of 2021. She originally grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, and went through her high school years in southern Wisconsin. She began working with horses at a young age, and her passion for all animals continued to blossom, leading her to the veterinary field. Lilly is continuing her education in Veterinary Technology.
During her free time she enjoys spending time with loved ones, painting, and being with her house cats: Prada and Gemini.
Claudia joined Family Pet Hospital in September 2021. She is currently studying at University of Wisconsin-Platteville to complete her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a Pre-Veterinary emphasis and a minor in Spanish. She grew up outside of Platteville helping her dad run the family farm and showing rabbits at the county fair. She has always had a passion for animals and science, which lead her to be on the path she’s on. Her end goal is to become a bilingual small animal veterinarian. Currently, she has adopted a dog and cat named Millie and Taigh. Millie is pictured.
Caroline joined us in 2022, and she is currently a senior at UW-Platteville pursing an Animal Science Degree with a Pre-Veterinary Emphasis. She grew up on her family’s dairy farm in rural Wisconsin and has always had a passion for animals and agriculture leading her to fall in love with veterinary medicine. In her free time, she assists with research at UW-Platteville, attends clubs, and spends time with her family’s dogs Salsa and Ivy, and her own cat Greg.
Camden joined Family Pet Hospital in June 2022. She is currently studying at University of Wisconsin –Platteville to complete her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She is then going to further her education at Madison Area Technical college to obtain her Veterinary Technician Degree to fulfill her dream to become a CVT.
She has always had a passion for working with animals since she was a young girl. She owns three cats that she has rescued and nursed back to life. Camden also has a family dog named Marvin and just recently adopted her own dog, Diesel.
Becca joined the Family Pet Hospital team in August 2022. She is currently studying at the University of Wisconsin - Platteville to complete her bachelor’s degree in Biology. She is also planning to complete her Biology degree with an emphasis in zoology. After she completes her bachelors degree, she plans to get her CVT online through the Penn Foster program.
Becca grew up around animals of all shapes and sizes which has led her to have a growing passion for helping animals. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses, spending time with family and friends, and being with her cat, Tigger. She loves meeting our clients and their fur babies!

Cassie was born and raised on a farm in Northwestern Iowa. She's lived in Minnesota and Texas before she settled in Southwest Wisconsin. Cassie is a huge animal lover and has always had dogs and cats in her life. In 2020, Cassie found herself wanting to pursue a new career and she discovered that the community college in her hometown offered a dog grooming course. She decided to take the plunge. Cassie soon realized that grooming was both rewarding and fun!
Cassie currently lives with her two dogs Benny, who is a terrier mix and who has always been the life of the party and Lincoln, a poodle, who loves to catch his frisbee and play with his ball. Aside from spending time with her beloved pets, Cassie loves all things art, working on her house, gardening, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends!
