Georgia, Lead CSR
Georgia Nitsos joined our team in June of 2022. She comes to our clinic with an extensive background in pharmacy, serving as a Senior Pharmaceutical Technician in Dubuque, Iowa. Her dedication to her customers extends across 11 years.
She has a deep passion for both the pets and the pet parents. She is a cat mom of 11 and was the loving mommy to her favorite senior puppy, Chloe. Chloe would dance with Georgia anytime a song came on! She enjoys serving others and loving on all the animals while they’re with us!
Georgia is the proud Mother of three sons, Christopher, Seth and Braxten. Her, and the love of her life, Steve enjoy a quiet life at home and believe they are the most loyal Green Bay Packers to have ever lived!
Angelica
Angelica joined our team in March of 2023. A California native, she moved to Wisconsin 2 years ago from San Diego and fell in love with the Midwest hospitality. She previously worked for a veterinary hospital in the San Francisco Bay Area and has been a hairstylist for 15 years in both Northern and Southern California. When she is not at Family Pet Hospital, you can find her working at her salon here in downtown Platteville. She enjoys spending her time outdoors- hiking, kayaking, and with her best friend of 9 years, her pitbull mix Bowser. She looks forward to serving our community and getting to know our patients and clients!
Ellie
Ellie joined our team in June 2021.
Veterinary Technicians
Danielle, CVT
Danielle became a CVT in 2011. She worked for Galena Square Vet Clinic when Dr. Beebe purchased the clinic. She had moved to central Illinois in 2015 to be with her husband. She continued to work as a CVT while there. She has moved back with her family in Scales Mound and rejoined the Family Pet Hospital team in March of 2022. Danielle and her husband share their house with their young boy/girl twins and two dogs. In her free time she enjoys baking, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
Becky, CVT
Becky joined our team in May 2012. She grew up in Ontario, WI and moved to Grant County in 2012. With her farming background, Becky has always enjoyed animals. Before coming to Family Pet Hospital, she worked elsewhere as a Certified Veterinary Technician and now has 18 years of veterinary technician experience.
Becky is engaged and has a young son, Walker. She also shares her life with Harvey, the Golden Retriever, 4 cats, 2 Jersey steers, 1 miniature goat and a flock of chickens.

Betty, Lead CVT
Betty grew up on a dairy and beef farm in southwest Wisconsin. Her love for animals began at a very young age. Growing up with two older brothers, she had a variety of pets, ranging from lizards, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, and hermit crabs.
As time went on, she continued to have a passion for helping animals and people at the same time. Having those two passions in mind, she decided to become a Certified Veterinary Technician and graduated in June of 2012.
Betty and her husband live outside of Lancaster with their three daughters. Her household has one cat, Scotcharoo and three dogs; a corgi mix named Mocha, a dachshund named Mango and golden retriever named Jesse.
In her free time, she absolutely loves to spend time with her two Arabian cross mares, enjoys going for hikes and walks with her dogs.

Emily, CVT
Emily joined our team in May of 2022. She has been a registered CVT since 2020 coming to us with 11 years of veterinary experience. Emily completed her bachelor’s degree in dairy science in 2017. She has a wide skill set from large animal medicine to small animal medicine and even exotics!
Emily was born and raised in Platteville, WI. She now resides in Lancaster, WI with her husband and a baby on the way. Together they have two corgis, Chopper and Brody, and cat Sophie. In her spare time she volunteers as an emergency medical technician. She can’t wait to meet our clients and their furry loved ones.
Brea
Brea Woodruff joined our team in January of 2023. She comes to our clinic with 5 years of veterinary experience. She completed her first year of veterinary technician school at Madison Area Technical College and is finishing the program with Penn Foster.
Brea lives in Dodgeville with her husband and two cats, Ava and Raven. In her free time she enjoys everything outdoors including boating, fishing, hunting and hiking.
She looks forward to getting to know all of our wonderful clients and their pets.
Veterinary Assistants
Tracy
Tracy joined our team in January 2024 with 30+ years of veterinary experience. She has a wide variety of experience with both large and small animals. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from UW-Platteville with a minor in Agri-business.
Tracy was born and raised outside of Platteville. She lives on a farm just outside of Platteville. Tracy and her husband have two children, and two fur babies, Gus and Gracie. In her free time, Tracy enjoys spending time with her famiy and friends, reading, helping her husband on the farm, and spending time outdoors. Tracy is excited to be able to continue working with community she grew up in and caring for your pets.
Claudia
Claudia joined Family Pet Hospital in September 2021. She is currently studying at University of Wisconsin-Platteville to complete her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a Pre-Veterinary emphasis and a minor in Spanish. She grew up outside of Platteville helping her dad run the family farm and showing rabbits at the county fair. She has always had a passion for animals and science, which lead her to be on the path she’s on. Her end goal is to become a bilingual small animal veterinarian. Currently, she has adopted a dog and cat named Millie and Taigh. Millie is pictured.
Camden
Camden joined Family Pet Hospital in June 2022. She is currently studying at University of Wisconsin –Platteville to complete her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She is then going to further her education at Madison Area Technical college to obtain her Veterinary Technician Degree to fulfill her dream to become a CVT.
She has always had a passion for working with animals since she was a young girl. She owns three cats that she has rescued and nursed back to life. Camden also has a family dog named Marvin and just recently adopted her own dog, Diesel.
Abby
Abby joined Family Pet Hospital in March 2023. She grew up just outside of Platteville on her family’s farm where she has a role in raising performance horses and registered beef cattle alongside her parents. She attends the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and will complete her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a Pre-Veterinary emphasis. Having shown horses and livestock throughout her childhood, her love for animals only grew into a passion in which she would like to pursue a career. In her free time, Abby enjoys horseback riding, hitting the gym, and hiking with her corgi, Rowdy, who she believes absolutely lives up to his name! Abby is excited to continue learning and exploring different aspects of both animals and science as she drives toward a career in mixed animal veterinary medicine.
Connor
Connor joined Family Pet Hospital in March 2023. He grew up in Dickeyville, WI, and has many memories of visiting his grandparents' farm in Cuba City where his love of animals began. Currently, he is studying at UW-Platteville majoring in Animal Science with a Pre-Veterinary emphasis. His goal is to further his education at Veterinary school, leading to becoming a small animal veterinarian. Connor enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and hanging out with his dogs Blue (pictured) and Belle. While at school, he is a member of Pre-Vet Club where he is involved in many organizational activities and events. Connor is excited to continue his education and excited to meet all your pets!
Groomer
Cassie
Cassie was born and raised on a farm in Northwestern Iowa. She's lived in Minnesota and Texas before she settled in Southwest Wisconsin. Cassie is a huge animal lover and has always had dogs and cats in her life. In 2020, Cassie found herself wanting to pursue a new career and she discovered that the community college in her hometown offered a dog grooming course. She decided to take the plunge. Cassie soon realized that grooming was both rewarding and fun!
Cassie currently lives with her two dogs Benny, who is a terrier mix and who has always been the life of the party and Lincoln, a poodle, who loves to catch his frisbee and play with his ball. Aside from spending time with her beloved pets, Cassie loves all things art, working on her house, gardening, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends!
